Napoleon Peacock has hatched in Evansville to help children develop a love of reading!
Napoleon Peacock has hatched! United Way of Southwestern Indiana is proud to publish a series of local books to help children develop a love of reading! Our new feathered friend, Napoleon Peacock, will star in a series of local children's books and educational TV shows on our local PBS station WNIN. The Early Childhood Development Coalition is hosting a series of events promoting early literacy for our youngest family members. By engaging children at a young age, we will help prepare them for school and a lifetime of learning and success.
